HUDDERSFIELD golden boy Ed Clancy was among Great Britain’s Olympic stars who paraded through London.

Cyclist Ed, 23, led Team GB’s 4,000-metre pursuit team to a stunning victory in a world record time of 3mins 53.3sec in Beijing.

He and his team were among about 350 athletes who paraded through London yesterday.

Well-wishers and sports fans lined the streets for the parade from Mansion House to Trafalgar Square.

Team GB won 19 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics to finish fourth in the medal table with 47, the best Olympic performance since 1908.

Paralympics GB won 102 medals, including 42 golds, to finish second in the table behind host nation China.
