SHOPPING is top of the agenda for Examiner winner Jean Hemingway.

Mrs Hemingway, of Cowcliffe, was stunned today to get the news that she had won £2,000 worth of vouchers to sped at Peters' department store in Huddersfield.

And she was thrilled at the prospect of a new year spending spree in the King Street store after becoming the latest winner in our fantastic Six Days of Christmas competition.

She received her prize vouchers from the store's David Whittle.

Mrs Hemingway lives in North Cross Road with husband Neil.

She works in the administration department at Culligan's water treatment firm in Birkby.

She previously worked at Brook Motors, Folly Hall, for 26 years.

"I do a lot of competitions in the Examiner and enjoy entering them all.

"I won a helicopter ride in the past for Neil, but he gave it to a cancer charity."

The 10 runners-up in the contest, who each receive £50 worth of shopping vouchers, are: Mrs B Pearson, of Honley; Mrs Judith Day, Netherthong; Mrs Susan Roberts, Shepley; Mrs Susie Durrans, Newsome; Pauline Hewson, Brighouse; Christine Horn, Shepley; Lindsey Masters, Taylor Hill; Susan Stott, Crosland Moor; Mrs P Williams, Holmfirth; and Michelle Swain, Elland.
