A WOMAN died after being rescued from a burning house.

All three emergency services were called to the blaze at a terraced house in Boldshay Street, Bradford, at 6am yesterday morning.

The woman was rescued by fire crews but later died a short time later at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

Insp Michael Green, of West Yorkshire Police, said a joint investigation into the cause of the fire would be carried out by police and fire service investigators.

Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were used by crews at the scene.
