A WOMAN aged 76 died in a fire at her home in Halifax on Christmas Day.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at a flat in the Threadneedle Court sheltered housing complex in King Cross just after 7am.
The woman's body was discovered inside the flat after the fire was put out.
West Yorkshire Police said an investigation into the cause of the fire would be carried out but the blaze was not being treated as suspicious.
