A WOMAN faces trial after allegedly injuring a cyclist with her car.

Adele Wilson, of Garforth Street in Netherton, denies driving without due care and attention.

The alleged offence took place at Meltham Road on October 11.

Alex Bozman, prosecuting, said that Wilson made a sharp turn in the cyclist’s path.

He said that the rider was then hit by the Land Rover Discovery and suffered injuries.

Wilson, 39, will stand trial before Kirklees magistrates in Huddersfield.

Her case was adjourned until Tuesday, August 7 when the trial is due to take place.
