A THIEF forced a woman out of a car and sped off in it.

The woman was in the passenger seat of the silver Kia Sport while her boyfriend had nipped into a takeaway on Manchester Road in Thornton Lodge at 2am today.

The engine was running and the thief opened the door and ordered the woman out.

He then sped off towards Paddock.

The car, number SV52 GZJ, is still missing.

The thief is Asian, 6ft 2in tall and stocky, with a slight moustache.

He wore a black, three-quarter-length leather coat, black leather gloves and a dark blue, woolly hat.

His dark hair is shaved at the sides.
