A 53-YEAR-OLD woman was knocked to the ground by a robber who stole her handbag.
The victim was walking in an alleyway off Corby Street in Fartown when the mugger struck at 9pm last night.
He knocked her to the ground, held her down and then wrenched the bag from her grasp.
She suffered an arm injury during the attack.
The robber is white, aged 15 to 17, 5ft 3ins tall and slim. He wore a black hooded top.
