A WOMAN has gone missing after her caravan was set on fire in Greetland.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at the caravan at Scar Bottom Lane at 8.57pm on Saturday.
They thought the woman - who has not been named - was inside the caravan and paramedics and police were on standby.
However, they discovered that the woman was not inside.
The fire had exploded several gas cylinders near the caravan and the vehicle was totally destroyed.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and police are searching for the woman.
