A WOMAN is to appear in court accused of slashing another woman in the face with a knife.
Tracey Law, of Glenfield Avenue, faces trial at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court next month.
It is alleged that the 32-year-old had a fight with the woman in the street.
It is then that she allegedly cut the woman’s face with an eight-inch kitchen knife.
Law denies the charge, claiming that the injuries to the woman’s face were caused by fingernails.
Law’s lawyer told District Judge Marie Mallon that a forensic pathologist had been asked to give evidence on this.
Law is due to stand trial before the court on February 14.
