A woman had a lucky escape after a car crash at Ainley Top.
She escaped with minor injuries after her car overturned in Brighouse Road this afternoon.
The accident happened shortly after 1.45pm on the brow of the hill above the Toby Carvery and close to the junction with New Hey Road.
No other vehicles were thought to be involved.
The 29-year-old Huddersfield woman was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Police diverted traffic while the vehicle, which had landed on the grass verge, was recovered.
