COMMUNITY spirited employees at Yorkshire Water have begun a campaign to make Christmas a better one for children and families across the region.
Employees have begun to collect toys, food items and toiletries which will make up hundreds of Christmas hampers.
The hampers will then be distributed to a variety of community groups to help them support those who need it most during the season of goodwill to all men and women.
Yorkshire Water community affairs manager Anne Reed said: "We've been asking our colleagues to bring into work good quality games and toys that their children don't play with anymore."
New items were also being collected.
