WORKSHOPS featuring leading black Yorkshire writers and artists are being held in Huddersfield.

Jack Mapanje, Simon Murray and Tanya Chan-Sam have begun work on a new creative work FWords, marking the Parliamentary act to abolish the British Slave Trade and focusing on the theme of freedom.

The workshops are being held at Huddersfield University at 3.30 and 6.30pm in the West Building at Queensgate.
