HUDDERSFIELD is to host a festival of Yorkshire ales. The Head of Steam pub in St George's Square is staging the festival starting on Monday - Yorkshire Day. It will continue throughout the month and feature hand-pumped beers from 60 independent breweries in Yorkshire. There will be 72 pints - a firkin - of each variety. Tony Brookes, of the pub, said: "We have lots of different beer festivals, but funnily enough, the Yorkshire ones are always the best supported."
