DEIGHTON football club officials have asked Kirklees Council for permission to serve alcohol.
The Yorkshire Lions have requested a licence to sell drink until midnight, seven days a week. The club, based at Warrenside, has also asked for permission to stay open until 1am every day.
Anyone wishing to comment on the licence request can write to the Licensing Office, Riverbank Court, Wakefield Road, Aspley, Huddersfield, HD5 9AA or email licensing@kirklees.gov.uk by August 27.
