Seventy children were joined by their families at the Linden Playgroup in Birkby for the festivities.
Salman Zaman, from Salman’s Bollywood Academy, is pictured entertaining the children with a dancing display.
Playgroup manager Fiona Arundel said: “It was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the kids liked the dancing.”
The celebration took place at the Lighthouse Building on Linden Road.
The playgroup is open to children aged two to four.
