YOUNG farmer Kelly Armitage from Salendine Nook has set off on her mission to travel to Torquay on an amphibious bike.
She aims to spend four days cycling along the canals of England to get to her destination at the annual Young Farmers convention. The 24-year-old left Tunnel End at Marsden yesterday morning as one of a team of 15. The Yorkshire Young Farmers’ Clubs members hope to raise £2,000 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
