A BATTLE of the Bands night has raised more than £700 for charity.
Young people hosted a live music night in aid of four charities.

Supporter Andy Lloyd from the Kirklees Young Peoples Service said: “They have done really well.
“They all picked charities to support and they helped to raise the money for them.
“It has worked so well it is something we’ll look to doing again.”
The Laura Crane Trust, Cancer Research, the Tear Fund and The Global Fund will all benefit from the charity night.
Around 160 young people from across Kirklees got involved in the event. (zy090508Bcheque)
