Young Muslims from Huddersfield joined thousands from across the country at London’s Battersea Park to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for several UK charities.

Volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) took part in a 10k run and walk.

Leading up to the event, volunteers arranged a number of local fund raising initiatives in school’s and supermarkets to raise money for great causes such as Save the Children, NSPCC, Barnardos, CLIC Sargent, UNICEF, The Silver Line, Humanity First, The Royal British Legion, Macmillan Cancer Support, British Heart Foundation, LLR, RNIB, and the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability.
