YOUNG rockers have performed in front of an audience for the first time.
About 20 young people held a concert for friends and family at Ricky’s School of Rock in Linthwaite.
The children, aged eight to 15, had completed a 10-week course in rock star training at the school in Colne Valley Business Park.
They performed tracks by groups such as Nirvana and ACDC.
Organiser Ricky Comiskey said the gig went well. He said: “We like to have a closed shop with just family and friends so there’s a safe environment to build the kids’ confidence.
“They did really well; they were like little rock stars.”
