TWO boys are thought to blame for two attacks in Huddersfield town centre.

They tried to rob two 13-year-olds in Market Street and moments later attacked two boys aged 12 in a shop.

In the first incident, at 12.20pm on Saturday, they approached a boy from Holmfirth and his friend and demanded their mobile phones.

When they were refused, one boy was kicked on the legs.

They searched the boys, but a passer-by saw what was happening and the would-be robbers fled.

They are then thought to have gone to Wilkinson's home and garden store on New Street and demanded cash from two boys.

They hit one on his shoulder, but left empty-handed.

Both attackers are white, aged about 13 and 5ft 4in tall, with short, brown hair

One is slim with tanned skin and wore a navy blue or grey hooded top with a large front pocket.

The other is chubby and wore a long-sleeved orange top with buttons down the front.

Anyone else who was confronted by these two or knows who they are should ring Pc Neil Dunne on 01484 436659.
