BRENDA Cosslett, a fundraiser for the charity Lepra, which fights leprosy, is pictured thanking children at South Crosland Junior School.

A total of £1,300 was raised for research into the prevention and cure of the disease by youngsters from the school who organised a sponsored keep-fit session.

Mrs Cosslett told the pupils about the disease and how it affects people.

Children who raised over £21 each received a Lepra T-shirt as a `thank you'.
