A GROUP campaigning for more jobs and financial help for young people has been set up.
Youth Fight For Jobs (YFFJ) held its inaugural meeting at Coffee Evolution cafe, Greenhead Road, on Saturday.
The organisation, supported by the Socialist Party, aims to fight for a fairer deal for people aged 16-24 who are in education or looking for work.
YFFJ hopes to campaign against student debt, cuts to local services and youth unemployment.
The group is holding a protest outside Huddersfield Town Hall on February 24 against proposed cuts to Kirklees Council.
