ROBBERS threatened a teenager with an iron bar then stole his mother’s new car.
The two had been shopping and were parked in Laund Road at Salendine Nook unloading the shopping at 1.20pm yesterday when a van pulled up.
The woman was in the house, but two men got out of the white Ford Transit, threatened her 16-year-old son with the bar and demanded the car keys.
The youth, fearing for his safety, handed the keys over and the thieves escaped in the car and van. The silver BMW 325, number YG57 HNX, is still missing.
The robbers are both white and spoke with Irish accents.
One is large with blond hair and wore a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
The other is 5ft 4in tall with blond hair and a large gap in his teeth.
He wore a white T-shirt, black jumper and a black baseball cap.
