UNDETERRED by her shock exit from the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, actress Zoe Lucker is backing a fundraising aerobathon.

And the Huddersfield-born star is urging as many people from the town as possible to take part in the NSPCC’s first ever Aerobathon.

On Monday more than 70 leisure centres across Yorkshire and the North East are taking part in the two-hour aerobic workout between 6 to 8pm in aid of the children’s charity.

Zoe said: “Money raised will help the NSPCC to grow its Helpline, for adults concerned about a child and its Childline service.

“This will help protect and help more children around the UK.

“It will be a great event and fantastic fun with more than 70 events taking place at the same time. As a mum myself I understand how precious children are, so please sign up now.”

Local leisure centres taking part include: Colne Valley High School Sports Centre, Colne Valley Leisure Centre, Deighton Sports Centre, Scissett Baths and the Stadium Health and Fitness complex.
