BOROUGH of Kirklees swimmers enjoyed success at Harrogate and Rotherham, writes Sam Christie.

BOK retained the Top Club title at the Rotherham Graded Meet, 140 points ahead of Rotherham Metro.

Richard Swystun finished runner-up in the Top Boy category after collecting four golds, three silvers and one bronze in the A grade, 15-and-over age group.

Nathan Rudge came third in the A 13 years category, taking five golds and two silvers.

Emily McGrath continues to make good progress, winning three golds in the A grade nine years age group.

At the Harrogate Open, Ryan Flanagan dominated the 13 years age group scooping the Top Boy award with seven gold medals and seven personal bests.

Emily McGrath won the Top Girl in the nine years age group, picking up six medals including four golds.

Despite a niggling injury, Sophie Canham won gold in all three backstroke events at 13 years.

Rebecca Whalley joined the gold medalists with wins in the 11 years 100m and 200m backstroke.
