Wayne Shooter (2) and Danny Naidole netted as Bay Athletic beat Storthes Hall 3-2 to keep their West Riding County Amateur League title drive on track.

Victory in their final Premier Division game at home to Ovenden WR on Wednesday would make Bay champions at the expense of Huddersfield rivals Golcar United.

Golcar, who have finished their games, are two points in front of Bay, who are seeking a sixth title in eight seasons.

In Division I, Lepton Highlanders were 4-2 winners at Steeton Reserves while Honley won 2-1 at Salts Reserves to clinch the Division II title.

Bay Reserves face Gildersome Spurs Old Boys in the Division II Cup final at Lower Hopton’s Woodend Road on Monday night.

Lepton take on Wakefield City in the Division I Cup final at Overthorpe on Wednesday.
