Huddersfield Town Ladies recorded convincing wins at Under 18 and 13 level.

Both sides will finish runners-up to Doncaster Belles in their respective Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls League sections.

The 18s, playing their last game before moving into open-age football after six seasons in the junior ranks, went nap in the second half at home to Sheffield United Junior Blades.

Jess Holland (2), Sian Lewis, Beth Halligan and Megan Mirfield sealed the 5-0 victory.

The 13s eased to an 11-0 home win over Bawtry Junior Blades.

It took just three minutes for Town to open the scoring.

A throw-in from Olivia Burgin found Courtney Livsey, whose overhead kick looped over the Bawtry keeper.

On 12 minutes Gwen Hughes went on a strong run and although the keeper got a hand to her shot, it was too strong to keep out.

Hughes got her second eight minutes later.

On 32 minutes came the goal of the game.

Town keeper Emily Brookes made a good save and then quickly released the ball to Jemima Wood.

She passed to Livsey and her defence-splitting pass sent Molly Ellis clear to finish well.

Livsey made it 5-0 just before half time.

Two minutes into the second half, Harriet Waller jinked down the left wing her ball into the box was turned in by Livsey.

Hardworking Brodie Haigh then netted.

Three more goals for Livsey and another for Haigh completed the scoring.

Player of the match was right-back Olivia Burgin for her work in both defending and creating.

The 13s play their final game of the season at Beighton Magpies on Saturday (11.00).

The first team complete their FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division games at Preston North End on Thursday (8.00).
