BROAD OAK is the venue next Sunday as Huddersfield bid to win a place in the Joe Lumb Cup final.
It’s a 1pm start in the semi-finals of the elite county junior competition and Huddersfield face some quality opposition in Scarborough.
The East Coast representatives, however, only just made it through to the last four.
Having bowled out Pontefract for 134, Scarborough got through off the last ball and with just one wicket in hand.
Huddersfield have beaten North Yorkshire/South Durham, Bradford and East Yorkshire to reach this stage.
Meanwhile Scholes, who staged the Romida Twenty20 Finals Day yesterday, have a tournament at Chapelgate next Sunday for the Holme Valley Trophy.
It’s the centrepiece of a Family Fun Day starting at Noon, when Scholes, Holmfirth and Cartworth Moor will take part in T20 action to decide the winners.
In addition to the cricket, there will be a barbeque, bouncy castle, music and games including welly wanging.
