OUTLANE had a comfortable victory in the Towergate Halifax League’s Second Division, where they hammered Denholme Clough, thanks in part to a super century from 16-year-old Chris Brook.
The talented teenage opening batsman made 112, his maiden century, becoming the third different Outlane junior to score a ton in a week.
Brook’s knock was the foundation for Outlane’s 286-6 tally, before the visitors were rolled over for 91, D Proctor taking four for 23.
Former Elland all-rounder Rob Laycock sunk Blackley, as he made an unbeaten 50 in the two wicket win.
