SHEPLEY’S trip over to top-flight rivals Hoylandswaine is set to be the match of the day in the quarter-finals of the Romida Sykes Cup.

Having disposed of Scholes in a tie which finished on Monday night, Danny Glover’s side now face another tough test against Alex Morris’s tough team.

Drakes Premiership Marsden got the tie probably everyone wanted against Conference new boys Cawthorne, but Matt utters’ side will have to travel to Barnsley on Sunday, June 12 (1.00) to aim for the semis.

Holders Skelmanthorpe will also fancy their chances of a last-four slot, as they’ve been drawn away against either Barkisland or Clayton West.

In the Paddock Shield for second XIs, the top tie looks to be Kirkburton v Broad Oak.
