ELLAND’S first-round tie in this season’s Black Sheep Yorkshire Champions Trophy against Cullingworth, which was scheduled for tomorrow, has been put back.

The Craven League side, who were hosting the tie, said they were unable to get their ground ready in time, and have now re-arranged it for Sunday, June 14.

Meanwhile, holders Honley, who should have been going to North Ferriby, will now be playing at home on Sunday, May 10.

The East Yorkshire Alliance club had their pavilion destroyed by fire and have said it will not be re-built in time to stage the contest, so they were more than happy to reverse the tie.
