HUDDERSFIELD’ Joe Lumb Cup team embark on only their second game of the season tomorrow, when they take on the East Yorkshire side at Brough Cricket Club, in Welton.

With games having been cancelled against the Craven League (because of Huddersfield Town’s play-off match) and the Nidderdale League (due to Cup commitments in both Leagues), manager Stuart Fletcher will be hoping to add to the team’s solitary win over the Pontefract League at Almondbury Wesleyans.

Once again Fletcher has a strong-looking 12-man squad on duty, which includes Meltham duo Will Fraine and Jack Wallis, Broad Oak pair Danny Rushworth and Alex Walker and Jack Hendy from Premiership club Elland and Abdul Wahid from top flight Slaithwaite.

Also included in the squad are: Max Berry (Thongsbridge), Mark Askham (Woodfield Park), Ian Walker (Honley), Mike Burgess (Cawthorne), Joe White (Green Moor) and Jonny Hoyle (Almondbury Wes).

The Huddersfield umpire is Nick Oddy with Tim Hirst the scorer.

Players are asked to meet at the ground at 11.30am.

Directions: M62 towards Hull; continue on to A63; take exit towards Elloughton/Brough/Welton; turn left onto Welton Road; sign for Elloughton/Brough; take first left towards Common Lane; turn right into Common Lane; club is on left-hand side. Approximately 63 miles from start of M62.
