CRAIG RUSCOE hit six sixes in an over for Golcar in the Romida Twenty/20.

As the Colne Valley side completed their group matches and went forward to a quarter-final meeting with Broad Oak at Swallow Lane, Ruscoe whacked the Hall Bower attack for 77 in just 24 balls.

His effort included the ‘perfect six’ over and helped propel his side to a nine-wicket victory against a Bower side who set a total of 125 – Will Hinchliffe taking two for nine in three excellent overs and Lee Baxter claiming two for eight in one.

Ruscoe, obviously, dominated the reply, although Mick Illingworth finished with 30 not out.

Tuesday’s quarter-finals (all 6.30) are Golcar v Broad Oak, Kirkburton v Skelmanthorpe, Barkisland v Honley and Delph v Elland.
