JACK HENDY took the man-of-the-match award as Golcar won the Romida Hills Supplies Under 15 Cup after beating Lascelles Hall in the final.
Batting first on their own ground, the Hall were soon in trouble with Hendy, Tom Willans and Josh Woodhead each taking two wickets apiece.
George Sommerville made a valiant 50 before having to retire, while Joe Dunstan scored an unbeaten 43, but theirs were the only knocks of note as the Hall were dismissed for 143 in 28.3 overs.
Golcar, who went into the final as underdogs although they are top of their Junior Section, were soon in command with Hendy making 50 before having to retire (as per League rule), while all their top basmen made runs.
Willans finished unbeaten on 31, Josh Woodhead 22, Jake Lockwood 13, and Lewis Berry 17 as Golcar romped home with six-and-a-half overs and six wickets in hand.
The trophy and prizes were presented by Sellers Junior Cricket League chairman Phil Senior.
