HUDDERSFIELD’s Joe Lumb Cup side have again pulled the short straw after being drawn away at North Yorkshire and South Durham in the first semi-final on Sunday.
After finishing top of their section, manager Stuart Fletcher learned that his side must travel to Thornaby Cricket Club in Stockton-on-Tees for the semi-final, which starts at 1pm.
Skippered again by Broad Oak’s Danny Rushworth, Huddersfield have retained a settled side, which includes Will Fraine, Max Berry, Mark Askham, Jack Hendy, Ian Walker, Tom Boorman, Mark Burgess (wkt), Abdul Wahid, Alex Walker, Joe White and Jonny Hoyle.
Players are asked to meet at the ground at 11.30am. For those travelling, directions are: M62 East, A1M North, exit junction 49 A168 to Thirsk. A19 to Middlesbrough, look for Thornaby-on-Tees, Acklam Road. Head for Teesside Golf Club, entrance to ground at side of golf club. Post code TS17 7JS.
