HUDDERSFIELD’S Joe Lumb Cup side will be hoping for better weather this Sunday, when they entertain the Craven League at Elland (1.00), after last week’s wash-out in Leeds.

Skipper Danny Rushworth and his team have now had three matches cancelled due to the weather, and Sunday’s encounter is a re-arranged game, which should have been played back in May.

Team manager Stuart Fletcher is keeping a settled side, and will be looking for plenty of support for his charges, despite plenty of other attractions, including the White Rose Trophy side playing at Broad Oak on the same day (preview in Saturday’s Examiner Sport).

For the game against the Craven League, the Huddersfield team is:

Danny Rushworth (capt) and Alex Walker (both Broad Oak), Will Fraine and Jack Wallis (both Meltham), Max Berry (Thongsbridge), Mark Askham (Woodfield Park), Jack Hendy (Elland), Ian Walker (Honley), Mark Burgess (Cawthorne), Abdul Wahid (Slaithwaite), Joe White (Green Moor), Jonny Hoyle (Almondbury Wes). Players to meet at the ground 11.30am
