DON’T forget, there’s a big match at Shepley tomorrow.

The Marsh Lane men are up against Wrenthorpe in the semi-finals of the Heavy Woollen Cup.

Danny Glover’s side are having an excellent season and, at the moment, are the only realistic challengers to Honley for the Drakes League Premiership title.

SP Singh has gone past 1,000 runs in League and Cup cricket, not including the Romida Twenty/20, and he’ll be hoping to go to 50 wickets as well when they entertain Sykes Cup semi-finalists Delph & Dobcross today.

Tim Rees has plenty of runs under his belt this season and Liam Wiles was the man in form last Saturday when hitting a century in the victory over Skelmanthorpe.

Glover and overseas man Leigh Millar had excellent figures against Birstall in the quarter-finals while Ranjith Bandula and Singh had three wickets apiece.

Wrenthorpe, meanwhile, from the Central Yorkshire Premier Division, are looking for a fourth straight victory in the competition, having beaten Hanging Heaton, Spen Victoria and Liversedge in the showpiece.

Skelmanthorpe may also make the final. They play Hanging Heaton in the other semi-final tie.
