SCHOLES will have another reunion with former favourite Wasim Jaffer in the semi-finals of the Romida Sykes Cup.

The reigning Drakes League champions must visit the Indian ace’s current club Skelmanthorpe in the first tie on Sunday, July 4.

Delph & Dobcross will host Elland, last year’s beaten finalists, in the other game on Sunday, July 11.

Scholes have already played and beaten Skelmanthorpe in the league this season.

But they will be wary of Jaffer, who hit 109, one of his seven centuries so far this year, against them.

Delph and Dobcross aim to go one better than they did in 2008, when they lost in the final.

But Elland, who will be hoping Delph player Kyle Hogg is on duty with Lancashire, showed their ability by knocking over fancied Shepley last week.

In the Spectrum Interiors Paddock Shield, holders Scholes will face Golcar at Chapelgate on July 11.

Conference side Clayton West will have home advantage in a derby against Skelmanthorpe on July 4.
