A team of England legends boasting 254 Test caps between them will be playing at Elland tomorrow night.

The Hullenedge club are staging a T20 day featuring the Legends v Locals clash which starts at 5.30pm.

It has been organised by Richard Blakey Leisure and Blakey himself – who played two Tests for England in India – is in the Legends line-up.

The team is Mark Ramprakash, Chris Schofield, Anthony McGrath, Paul Nixon, Dominic Cork, Gavin Hamilton, Blakey, Phil Defreitas, Alex Tudor, Andy Caddick and Devon Malcolm.

Captaining the Locals – who will be the Howarth Timberwolves – is Elland skipper Greg Finn.

Among his squad are Matt Prosser, an excellent young all-rounder from Barwick in Elmet CC, Jack Hartley, the young fast bowler from Bradford & Bingley who is son of ex-Yorkshire player Neil Hartley, and Johnny Smailes, MCC member and sponsor.

Also in are Reece Jennison (Blackley), Tom Binns (Almondbury Wes), Will Fraine and Alec Jakeman from Honley, Keir Litjens (Northowram Hedgetop CC), Dan Keighley from SBCI CC, Tom and Jack Earle from Mytholmroyd CC and Fahid Rehman – Elland’s terrific all-rounder.

Also included is Tim Cartwright of Howarth Timber CC, who won a competition to gain a place in the side, so good luck to him.

There will be junior matches before the main game and a question and answer involving some of the Legends before the match.
