Huddersfield have named a 17-strong squad for this summer’s Joe Lumb Cup competition.

They are having a first get-together for practice at Armitage Bridge on Monday (6.30) and will be coached this year by Andy Gledhill and Darren Hinchliffe.

An initial friendly has been organised against Manchester Under 18s at Shepley on Sunday, May 22, with the first Joe Lumb match away at Bradford the following Sunday, May 29, when the venue is Undercliffe (1pm).

Sunday May 22: Huddersfield v Manchester Under 18s at Shepley (1pm).

Sunday May 29: Bradford v Huddersfield at Undercliffe (1pm, D2 3JR).

Sunday June 5: Huddersfield v North Yorks/South Durham at Golcar (1pm).

Sunday July 5: Huddersfield v Barnsley at Almondbury (1pm).

Sunday July 17: Halifax v Huddersfield at Sowerby St Peters (1pm, HX6 1BL).

Sunday August 7: Joe Lumb Cup semi-finals.

Monday August 29: Joe Lumb Cup final.

Sunday September 4: Jack Lee Trophy final.
