Joe Lumb bowler Louis Brook is injured again after topping Huddersfield’s returns in the competition with four wickets at an average of 12.50.

While Huddersfield went down after struggling to put out a consistent selection, Scholes’ Brook had the most wickets, one ahead of Honley’s Tommy Woodhead, who had three at 35.67.

Brook missed games because of a strained side and he suffered a recurrence of the injury playing against Shepley on Saturday in the Drakes League Premiership.

It’s unlikely he will return during the rest of this summer, which is very unfortunate for the talented seamer.

Kirkburton’s Matt Crookes did well with both bat and ball.

He bowled more overs than anyone else (29) and picked up two for 67 for an average of 33.50, and with the bat he had 51 runs from three innings.

Skipper Toby Booth, from Scholes, led the way with 98 runs from three innings for a top average of 32.67
