LEADERS Clayton West won again in Area C of the Sellers Under 13 League – and it was a thriller.
They posted a total of 104 at Green Moor and then the home side failed by just four runs.
Josh England did the damage for Clayton West, taking four wickets for seven runs.
Two games were completed in Area B, with both the top teams winning easily against Rastrick and Thongsbridge B, with Yasser Imtiaz starring with bat and ball for the leaders, Birkby Rose Hill.
In Area A, three games beat the weather allowing Thongsbridge and Hall Bower to edge away at the top of the table.
Hall Bower had just an over to spare against Meltham after the away team had posted a useful 113-2, with Jack Hinchcliffe and Adam Vickerman retiring for Meltham and then Danny Russell and Mathew Lindley managed to accelerate the scoring in the later stages to squeeze the Bower home.
