Lepton Highlanders and Delph & Dobcross go head-to-head on Sunday in the Under 11 Dawson Cup final at Almondbury CC.

It’s a 2pm start in the Sellers sponsored event and it promises to be a close battle.

Lepton – who reached the final last year against Barkisland – have beaten Slaithwaite, Denby Dale, Hoylandswaine and Scholes to reach the showpiece, having had a bye in the second round.

While Delph had a bye in the first round before overcoming Golcar, Armitage Bridge, Skelmanthorpe and Cumberworth.

Lepton are managed by Mark Carroll and Delph by Warren Jones. Umpires are M Jagger and D Watson. Admission is £2 for adults and £1 concessions.
