ENGLAND keeper Paul Nixon paid high praise to match- winner Andrew Flintoff after he secured the team's first victory on tour.

"He has big wide shoulders and he has done it again. It is very well deserved," said Nixon, after Flintoff secured victory off the penultimate ball.

"It is a huge win for the guys.

"They have worked so hard.

"We played positively in the field and bowled well and Freddie (Flintoff) stuck to his guns to see it through brilliantly.

"When you want it so much it is important you see it through.

"A lot of fans have waited a long time for this.

"It is all about being positive and upbeat.

"If you keep doing the right things in practice they will come out in the middle."
