CONFERENCE promotion hopefuls Kirkheaton have a big task on their hands as they bid to reach their first-ever Examiner Twenty/20 final tonight.
For standing in their way are Honley, the reigning Drakes League champions and last season’s beaten finalists.
While Kirkheaton are away, they will not be short on confidence, having already knocked out Skelmanthorpe.
A lot of their hopes rest on the efforts of Dale Winterbottom, while Honley have a team of match-winners, with Matt Cox having done the damage in the quarter-finals against Micklehurst when he cracked 59 off 32 balls, putting on 72 with Harlon Haye.
