ONE of cricket’s keenest and oldest followers is Clifford Oldroyd, who has just celebrated his 95th birthday.
Once again he will be watching his favourite club Scholes today when they entertain Rastrick in the Cedar Court Conference.
Clifford first played for the Chapelgate club in 1931, and years later was elected as their first-ever vice-president.
Well done Clifford, and happy birthday.
