ALMONDBURY Wesleyans have clinched the Under 13 Area A title!
They beat second-placed Kirkburton to make sure of the honour, while Augustinians took the Area C title following their victory over Micklehurst.
However, in Area B, it is still wide open with Green Moor beating the leaders Clayton West in a thriller, just overhauling the Clayton West total with two balls to spare.
There were two four-wicket performances from bowlers.
Oliver Carr, for Crigglestone, and Robert Thomas, for Rastrick, achieved the feat in their respective games against Scholes and Thongsbridge.
The top all-round performance was by Elliott Newton-Mann, who retired on 25 and took three wickets in Thurstonland’s game against Lepton.
Disappointingly, Shelley, Shepley and Honley were unable to raise teams due to holidays and had to concede their matches.
