Play is carrying over in the All Rounder Sykes Cup quarter-finals, so the Drakes League have rescheduled their T20 Trophy competition for Premiership sides.
All group games in the Total Indoor Cricket Solutions T20 Trophy – including tomorrow’s – are moved back a week.
So those from Tuesday June 21 (tomorrow) will be played on June 28, matches scheduled for Jun 28 to to Tuesday, July 5, and the quarter-finals are moved back from July 5 to July 12.
The semi-final T20 Trophy ties will now be played on Tuesday, July 19 (instead of July 12), and all this is possible because the T20 Grand Finals day has already been moved back to Sunday, July 31, from the previous week to accommodate a rescheduled set of league fixtures.
A Drakes League statement explained: “Due to team, player and ground availability issues surrounding this week’s extended Sykes Cup and Paddock Shield ties, some of which have the potential to go on until Tuesday and possibly beyond, and coupled with the fact that we feel it only reasonable that where possible all group games should be played on the same day, we have decided to move the Total Indoor Cricket Solutions T20 Trophy programme by one week.”
In the All Rounder Sykes Cup, all four ties continue tonight (6.30pm).
At Delph & Dobcross, Armitage Bridge are 231-8 with four overs of their innings to complete.
Up at Scholes, where the home side were dismissed for 148 (Callum Hill 74), Hoylandswaine resume on 14-1.
Slaithwaite start their innings tonight, chasing a Shepley total of 236-6 at Hill Top, while at Meltham, the home side restricted Broad Oak to 220-6 in their 50 overs.
