FC Halifax Town boss Neil Aspin has some selection posers for today’s final match of the regular Skrill Premier season at The Shay.

The Shaymen entertain Kidderminster Harriers. knowing the play-offs are all but secured and barring a mathematical miracle.

Their season will not be over after the final whistle and it’s exciting times for supporters and everyone at the club.

The prize for doing well in the play-offs is a trip to Wembley for the final and, ultimately, a place in the Football League once again.

Manager Aspin has no new injury worries going into the game but will again have a selection headache as he looks for his side to win in order to give themselves some momentum going into the knockout showdown.

Aspin’s biggest dilemma is likely to be on the right wing, with Adam Smith, Scott Spencer, Ryan Crowther and Marlon Jackson all vying for one position.

The fixture earlier in the season saw The Shaymen beaten 2-0, with the goals scored by Michael Gash and the now departed Joe Lolley, who is with Huddersfield Town.

Seventh-placed Kidderminster saw their slim play-off hopes end after they failed to beat Nuneaton at home on Bank Holiday Monday.
