Dartford is the destination for FC Halifax Town – both tonight and a week on Saturday.

Neil Aspin’s side will try to get their Vanarama Conference campaign back on track at Princes Park this evening.

They Shaymen are seeking a first win in three in the league.

But they were 5-3 FA Trophy winners at home to Alfreton Town on Saturday and will now go to Dartford in round three!

Aspin’s men have fallen to ninth in the Conference after a 2-0 home defeat by Chester.

Dartford are third-bottom after three straight league defeats and seven in their last eight.

But Tony Burman’s team did seal a 2-1 Trophy success at Burgess Hill to make yesterday’s last-16 draw.

Dartford were Trophy finalists back in 1974, when they lost 2-1 to Morecambe at Wembley.

Halifax’s best run is to the quarter-finals in 2007, when they were beaten by Kidderminster Harriers.

Dartford’s Elliot Bradbrook is the man Aspin’s men will have to watch out for tonight.

The striker has netted on seven occasions this season and is the main reason they sit off the bottom. The Darts have found goals hard to come by so far so keeping him quiet will be vital.
